Great Masters of Contemporary Latin American Fine Art
By Verónica Toro
On December 6th, 7th and 8th the ‘Great Masters of Contemporary Latin American Fine Art’ event will be held in the Riviera Maya. Space is limited to 150 people.
This exhibition will also serve as an art auction, and the aim is for residents and tourists alike to begin to perceive the destination as more than just a tourist attraction with natural beauty. The event will help diffuse information about the area’s rich cultural and artistic importance.
Featured artists include internationally acclaimed masters like Rufino Tamayo, David Alfaro Siqueiros, Diego Rivera, Pedro Coronel, Carlos Mérida, Leonora Carrington and many more. Those attending the show are dedicated enthusiasts of art, gallery owners, collectors and investors.
Committee directors and organizers Maria Herrera Castillo and Eric Antolin have developed a comprehensive sponsorship program that allows companies can reach their potential audience directly. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Cancun Rotary Club’s project of constructing a new Community Center for residents of the city.
