Grand Velas Riviera Maya

I know, I know. You’re traveling to Mexico, and you probably prefer a more traditional option to enjoy the flavors of this country. Grand Velas Riviera Maya is an All-Inclusive resort that also features superb cakes and pastries that you won’t see anywhere else: cheesecake with strips of poblano pepper, chocolate mousse with Oaxacan black mole, smoked sweet potato pie with papaya cream, just to name a few.

Here’s the interesting part: the resort also offers an out-of-this-world churro cake. Do you know the Mexican churro? It’s a crunchy sweet treat consisting of fried dough sprinkled with sugar or cinnamon. The crazy thing is that every churro cake is made up of several individual churros that may be filled with chocolate cream, condensed or caramelized goat’s milk.

Not only that, the churro cake at this resort can be topped with locally appreciated flavors. If you’re planning a birthday, wedding, anniversary, or any type of celebration, or just want to surprise your significant other, consider to stay at Grand Velas Riviera Maya.
